Our folly is to remain resolutely unsatisfied with the actual living truth, clearly and readily evident in each and every moment of our aliveness.

Despite what means we have at our disposal; science, art, religion – we get no closer to the mystery at the heart of life, the so-called ‘Truth’. What we seek, what we so desperately want to find, always remains out of reach and we fill the void with fictions and stories to stand in for what we cannot grasp.
Imagination and creativity have the potential to both trap us and set us free in equal measure.
Accepting what life presents us with
People do not realize just how much they are putting at risk when they don’t accept what life presents them with, the questions and tasks that life sets them.
When they resolve to spare themselves the pain and suffering they owe to their nature.
In so doing, they refuse to pay life’s dues and for this very reason, life then often leads them astray.
If we don’t accept our own destiny, a different kind of suffering takes its place: a neurosis develops, and I believe that that life which we have to live is not as bad as a neurosis.
If I have to suffer, then let it be from my reality. A neurosis is a much greater curse!
Carl Jung

Waking up is a relaxation into not knowing, into simply being this whole happening, just as it is.
Joan Tollifson
There is nothing mysterious about what is happening but there is only mystery about how and why.
We’re not meant to be happy any more than we’re meant to be in pain. We’re not meant to be anything in particular. We just happen to be whatever occurs.
The best meditation I know of is to completely surrender to whatever is happening, however it’s happening, whenever it’s happening.
We are not required to attain anything, I say. Nothing. This is not a test. When that is seen, one can relax.
Robert Saltzman
