It is very important to go out alone, to sit under a tree — not with a book, not with a companion, but by yourself — and observe the falling of a leaf, hear the lapping of the water, the fishermen’s song, watch the flight of a bird, and of your own thoughts as they chase each other across the space of your mind.

If you are able to be alone and watch these things, then you will discover extraordinary riches which no government can tax, no human agency can corrupt, and which can never be destroyed.

Jiddu Krishnamurti

Relax and be present with yourself. This is not an active looking for something but a receptive availability to what is here. Without agenda, awareness is open to what is. No selection, no bias, no editing. Everything is as it is and we get it all as it is. The infinite moment is full and empty.

James Low

The only problem with being is communicating it, the insufficiency of language. We all intuitively know and effortlessly are the living actuality, but try and communicate and describe it and the confusion begins.

The apparent world out there is you, is in you as you are in it, or rather, there’s no outside or inside, just a seamless continuum – no edges delineating this or that.

Even these words do not stand apart as commentary, are not separate, yet fail to articulate themselves just as eyes cannot apprehend themselves or a ruler fails to measure itself.
